Put Scout on your Home Screen

It opens full screen like an app, one tap from your Home Screen, and updates itself.

This is a temporary option. Our iPhone app is waiting on App Store approval. Use this until it's out, then switch to the App Store app with the same account.

Which browser are you using?

  1. Tap the ··· button

Look at the bottom of your screen. Just right of the web address is a round button with three dots. Tap it.

No three-dot button? Your Safari shows the Share button instead, a square with an arrow pointing up. Tap it and go to step 3.

  2. Tap Share

A menu opens. Tap Share , the square with an arrow pointing up.

  3. Tap Add to Home Screen

A list slides up from the bottom. Scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen and tap it.

Not in the list? Scroll to the very bottom and tap Edit Actions. Tap the + next to Add to Home Screen, then tap Done and scroll back down to it.

  4. Turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add

Check that the Open as Web App switch is on. Leave the name as Scout. Tap Add in the top right corner.

  5. Open Scout from your Home Screen

Go to your Home Screen and find the new Scout icon, a dark square with a bow and arrow. Tap it and sign in.

Or keep using Scout in the browser
